Her Highness Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz Al Muqrin, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, inaugurated the "virtual" workshop held by the Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education, entitled: "The Reality of Teaching Science and Mathematics in Arab Countries and Ways developed” on June 30, 2021.
The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education, in addition to the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the General Supervisor of Education and Capacity Building Activity at Abu-Ghazaleh Global, and the Executive Director of the International Arab Society of Certified Accountants, along with thinkers and specialized experts from several local, regional and international bodies, participated in the workshop.
After the welcoming speech of His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Mudaris, Director-General of the UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education, the events included an opening speech by Her Highness the Princess, in addition to presenting the research project the reality of teaching mathematics and science in Arab countries and ways to develop them, and discussion and interventions for the attendees, and then presented recommendations Final workshop.
The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education had participated “virtually” in addition to the executive directors of: Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital Academy, International Arab Society of Certified Accountants, and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academy, along with a group of researchers, academics and experts in education And its quality, at a workshop of the Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education, entitled: “Education in Arab Countries Going Through Crises”, which was held on June 15, 2021, and among the activities of the workshop: Discussing the most prominent practices in the quality of education in crisis countries, and analyzing the reality of difficulties in those countries Announcing the results of the study, aspirations and suggestions for improving the quality of education in those countries, to promote the dissemination of a culture of quality at the local and regional levels.
