BEIRUT-The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) will hold its 8th Annual Conference at the American University of Beirut (AUB) December 1 – 2, 2016 entitled “Enabling Regional Quality in Education.”
Chaired by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, AROQA’s Chairman, the Conference will be held in cooperation with the League of Arab States, National Quality Assurance and Accreditation Organizations and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org).
A host of institutions and organizations specialized in quality in education will participate in the Conference, including: national quality assurance and accreditation organizations in the Arab states, representatives of quality centers, researchers from various Arab universities, representatives of Arab education Ministries, quality and accreditation experts from the EU and the US, Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils, World Bank and others.
The Conference aims to increase awareness on quality and accreditation, its impact on educational institutions, highlight the role of accreditation in enhancing efficiency, improving results and developing information through exchange of experiences and highlight the significance of partnerships in identifying regional and local solutions to the shared challenges.
