The agreement which was signed by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, AROQA chairman, and HE Dr. Omar Shdeifat, the Academy Board chairman, indicates the Academy’s keenness to achieve the educational quality requirements by applying AROQA standards
During the signing ceremony, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride in collaborating with Retaal Schools, as well as in guiding them in the process of preparing the academic and administrative cadres at the Schools to offer exceptional educational services.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh pointed out that AROQA launched school accreditation standards of educational institutions in accordance with the international standards by adding topics related to scientific research, creativity and excellence to its existing standards; that also includes indicators to help educational institutions in Jordan and the Arab countries establish quality assurance systems in education, provide consultations and build schools’ capacities in the field of quality assurance in light of the rapid developments in information and communication technology which affect academic education programs towards achieving digital learning.
For his part, Dr. Shdeifat praised the Organization’s role and effective contributions to improving and developing education levels in the Arab region and providing quality in education services and accreditation in accordance with international standards that have been prepared in cooperation with specialized global organizations, experts and researchers.
Furthermore, Shdeifat thanked Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for his efforts in improving the quality of education, pointing out that the Schools seek, through this accreditation agreement, to achieve exceptional levels in education quality and capacity building.
The implementation of quality and academic accreditation standards involves several aspects related to the vision and objectives of the school; improving good governance and leadership; applying modern and advanced methods of teaching and education; providing exceptional learning opportunities for students to acquire knowledge; utilizing a comprehensive evaluation system that documents results and outputs to measure improvement. That is in addition to the provision of the necessary technical materials and resources that support the educational process as well as comply with the continuous development process for quality assurance.
