His Excellency Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education "AROQA", stressed the need to update the standards of the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education, which are related to accreditation, in line with international standards.
Abu-Ghazaleh pointed out that the importance of this modernization, which is in line with the unprecedented and accelerating shift towards cognitive and digital learning and improving the quality and quality of education in educational institutions in the Arab world, to keep pace with globalization.
Abu-Ghazaleh added that updating and developing accreditation standards and a self-assessment guide is at the heart of the organization's work to provide the best educational consulting services. Where the update will include adding standards for innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial projects, in order to help the student and teacher to transfer knowledge to life applications, and to create an easy and appropriate mechanism for self-evaluation.
It is noteworthy that the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) is an independent international non-profit association founded in Belgium in July 2007 whose primary goal is to improve the quality of higher education in general with a focus on the Arab world in particular, and operates under the umbrella of the League of Arab States and its honorary Chairman is the secretary General of the League of Arab States.
